The cabin was cleaned, boards were put up, drop cords were put away, temp lighting was re done, temp outlets were added, table and chairs were purchased, cot was removed (falling apart) and sleeping platform (42x84) was built. The kitchen area was cleaned, tupperware bins were purchased. Best of all - a TV was donated! A TV cabinet was made, antenna was connected. The radio and battery chargers were relocated. Basically - just wanted to set the cabin up for some comforts. Plumbing was put on hold for a weekend. See video below, Oct 12 2021.

There was pretty extensive damage done to the road because of a major rainstorm. Russ also corrected some issues at the cabin. A load of crusher run was delivered and dropped near the cabin site. That portion of the road was really washed out as well. Video below shows Russ contouring the top of the driveway, creating a slope for the run off to prevent it from just following the road and going down the driveway. This should divert rain water prior to reaching the concrete. See video below, Nov 6 2021.

Sheet rock has been installed (by others). Walls have been primed, and the drywall finisher has completed his final touchups. This was a good decision to hire the sheet rock out. I must state this phase - the drywall installation was paid for by my wonderful mom. Another example of the generosity received by others to create this dream. Exterior video walk thru. Great work weekend previously. Site was re-graded in a couple spots by one of the workers. Three truck loads of gravel was brought in (<30 tons) to place at the house and cover the entire driveway. Driveway was scraped a little just prior to fresh stone. Catch basin installed to deliver water under the driveway vs running down the driveway. Geo tech was put down at kitchen porch stairs and grill station finally installed !!
